GROOVE HAUL ON THE BLOCK
Groove Haul's block party series is a way for us to build up our DMV community. Hosting a block party offers the chance to bring something enriching to your neighborhood. Our block parties are customizable and can encompass a range of experiences, including community-oriented and kid-friendly activities. We would bring our truck and you would bring the party!
To host a block party, you will need to work with a member of our team to fill out an application that will be filled out through the DDOT website. Our administrative team will handle all the paperwork and logistics. All you would need to do is help engage neighborhood participants. Our sample flyers offer more details. Groove Haul would love to bring our party to your neighborhood! Start by filling out our interest form to see if your neighborhood is eligible.
Once selected, someone from our administrative team will reach out to you with the DDOT application process details and any additional info we'll need from you. In the meantime, start spreading the news to your neighbors to gauge interest.
After DDOT application approval, we will set up a time to discuss the neighborhood block party and send people out from our team to distribute Save the dates/flyers to your neighborhood. On the day of, just sit back and enjoy partying in a U-Haul with your community!
